House Melina is a holiday house in Ostuni for rent, situated in the nineteenth century area; this town named the White City, tourist place of the Apulia, known for its typical white houses contrasting with the countryside rich of secular olive-trees, for holiday in Salento between Bari and Lecce.

The "Piazza della Libertà" is about 300 meters far from the house. In the summer period it is the tourist meeting point with many typical shops, characteristic "trattorie"(eating house), famous cafès, pubs, funs for the young people.

It is an independent house for rent, on ground floor, recently renovated, located on a main street of Ostuni, Corso Vittorio Emanuele, which leads to Piazza della Libertà.

Inside (about 55 s.m.) is composed of:

dining room with sofa bed for one person
small kitchen with necessary utensils and crockery
a bedroom with a double bed
small hall
second bedroom with a double bed (without window, that takes air and light from the hall and/or from the first bedroom
a full bathroom with shower unit (without window, with fan)

It doesn't accept animals.

The housing unity is in the town, where there are different kinds of shops, restaurants, markets, chemists, banks.

The beaches of the Adriatic Sea, about 7 km far from the town, can be easily reached by own car or by public bus from the town to the seaside and return in the morning until the evening (in the summer days also in the night).
There are two different kinds of coasts, the long sandy beaches surrounded by sand hills and the Mediterranean scrub, and another one with the reef, which alternates at some small sandy beaches (some beaches are equipped and some are free), nice places to visit, staying in holiday house for rent in Apulia.

To remember : these housing unities are ancient and have not all the comforts and modernity of nowadays; they have small-middle dimensions, some steep staircases to accede to the rooms, because they are not always on the same floor; not every house has windows, or has small windows, the ceiling is with star or barrel vault, porches with nice view, equipped for tourists to give them a pleasant and comfortable stay;

REMAINING PERIODS - except holidays period	300,00 euro
August reservations must be made for a minimum of two weeks, either the first two weeks , or the last two weeks. Alternatively, it is possible to reserve three consecutive weeks. If the guests book the two weeks with the 15th of the August they must pay 10% in addition
The prices do not include the cost of electricity, gas and water. Pre-payment is required for the final home cleaning in the amount of 50,00 euro.
To secure a firm reservation a 30% pre-payment is requested. The 70% balance is due upon arrival. In addition to the basic rental fee, a security deposit of Euro 100,00 is requested.

Arrivals are every Saturday (from 3.30 p.m. to 8 p.m.). Departures are every Saturday (by 9 a.m.)

New: we also have convention with the Restaurant Holiday on the sea near a small sandy beach. At Lunch it offers at our guests touristic menùs with low special prices. This restaurant-pizzeria is also opened in the evening.
